Confused how to choose the appropriate mower for mowing your lawn during the summer season? There are some types of mowers out there for you to choose from.
Well, if you are in the market for a home and garden tools, never t overlook the greener part of things. Before you buy whichever version which you guess sounds best right now, take a moment to consider the pros and cons of every single type.
1. Electric Lawnmowers
Electric lawnmowers come in two types: cordless and corded. It is nice to hear that there is a model out there which does not plug into an outlet. For example, what you will but others would be paranoid about running the cord over with the mower and electrocuting you.
Electric lawnmowers offer some great advantages:
- No spark-plug to change
- No filter of fuel to change
- No oil to change
- No gasoline you should fiddle with
- They may save money over time
- Better for its environment
- Quieter compared with the traditional ones
- All some pretty great advantages
But, there are some drawbacks, too:
- Corded model limits mobility
- Cordless models might not offer a lot of mowing time: some require charging after an hour working
- They may not handle thicker grass well
- Watch for water when you mow
- Tend to be higher in price than gas mowers
2. Gas Lawnmowers
Gas lawnmower, apart from longevity, it has a few other advantages:
- It can easily cut through tougher grass
- There’s no cord to limit mobility
- You need not to wait for charging to mow larger lawn areas
- A few of gas goes when you are mowing a lawn
- The gas mower is more durable compared with the most of the electric ones
But, here are a few of you should consider before buying:
- Almost all gas lawnmowers are heavier compared with electric lawnmowers
- It is louder than an electric mower
- It requires engine maintenance regularly
- It has a pull-start cord which results in difficulty to turn it on
- It emits carbon monoxide & dioxide into the atmosphere
A gas lawnmower performs well if you feel no problem with a little maintenance. The mobility and its extra power make the gas mower a great option, particularly if you own a big lawn yard. However, if you have a small yard and are not comfortable doing mowing on engines, choosing an electric mower would be the right option for you. Besides, keep in mind to consider what performs best with the budget you have and discuss this to an expert to respond any certain questions you would have.
